Person Centered Planning to be Focus of Upcoming CRP Training Seminars

TIBH has contracted with Dr. Bill Weber, Professor at Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, to conduct five trainings throughout the state this summer geared to improve client outcomes in competitive integrated employment.

In conjunction with TWC’s WorksWonders Program initiatives, these seminars are intended to develop the necessary skills by community rehabilitation staff to do person centered career planning. These trainings will assist in increasing staff skills to be able to do job placement for those employees who choose to move into integrated employment.

This commitment by TIBH will be reinforced by the tools and methodology from Dr. Weber’s Staff Development and Career Counseling Training. His multi-faceted approach incorporates at least ten steps in the successful journey to Competitive Integrated Employment by persons with disabilities.
